Since 2012, the Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum has been managed by DANUBIANA – Centrum moderného umenia. This non-profit organization is headed by the Board of Directors comprised of seven members, four of whom are appointed by the Slovak Ministry of Culture and three by Via Danubia, the co-founder. The Supervisory Board has three members, two of whom are appointed by the Slovak Ministry of Culture and one by Via Danubia. The Board of Directors and Supervisory Board meet two to four times per calendar year.
Since its establishment, Gerard Meulensteen, the museum founder, has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Vincent Polakovič is the museum director and reports to the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board.
DANUBIANA – Centrum moderného umenia provides generally beneficial services according to the approved bylaws and pursuant to Act No. 213/1997 Coll. on Non-Profit Organizations as amended.
The Board of Directors approves the annual report and auditor’s report by June 30th of every year.
