The exposition of the collection of sculptures in the museum park consists of works from the Meulensteen collection, the newly formed collection of the Danubiana museum and long-term loans from artists and other gallerists. The park has an area of 12,000 m2 and contains 60 sculptures created by the most significant artists on the global, European and Slovak art scene.
The rooftop garden on the museum extension provides a unique view of the museum grounds as well as the Danube River and its surroundings. The sculpture park features an 11 m glass mosaic entitled Danube Wings by Peter Pollág, stone sculptures by Rudolf Uher, works by world famous sculptors such as Arman, Magdalena Abakanowicz, Jim Dine, Karel Appel, Hans van de Bovenkamp, El Lisitzky, Jozef Jankovič, Milan Lukáč, Oto Bachorík, Andrej Rudavský, Vladimír Kompánek and others. Thanks to its character, the sensitivity of its natural setting and the quality of the exhibited works, this park has no parallel in Slovakia.
